She immigrated to Australia in 1939, most likely fleeing the persecution of the Nazi regime as she was Jewish. In Australia she married follow a refugee and Austrian Jew Herbert Kann.

Ten pieces of stiffened green and white check cotton fabric, cut into flower shapes with long, narrow petals, and a cut in the middle. Sizes vary from 9 cm to 11 cm diameter; check size approx 0.15 cm.
