Spray of black artificial flowers made by Marion Kann. Marion (Mimi) was of born in Vienna, Austria in 1910. She immigrated to Australia in 1939, most likely fleeing the persecution of the Nazi regime as she was Jewish. In Australia she married follow a refugee and Austrian Jew Herbert Kann.

Physical Description

Nine pieces of stiffened black fabric cut into flower shapes with long, curved petals; sizes vary from 9.5 cm to 12 cm diameter. One piece cut from the same fabric 9 cm long and 4 cm wide, curved, tapered, double- pointed at one end.
