Nardil is the trade name for the drug Phenelzine, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), used as an anti-depressant and an anxiolytic (anti-anxiety). It was stored in the pharmacy of a mental hospital in Victoria, Australia. Made by Warner-Lambert pharmaceutical company. Nardil was indicated for patients who had shown little response to milder treatments for the symptoms of depression or were considered treatment-resistant.

Drug Nardil (phenelzine sulphate) is in tablet form, contained in small, flat, clear plastic box (sealed) with black and white paper labels showing through transparent top and bottom. Contains 90 tablets (originally 500).
