Physical Description

A piece of standard-issue canvas with thin blue stripe; hems on four sides have been unpicked. The cloth has been covered with red writing within squares drawn with blue ink. The writing may be in a middle-European language; each letter has been blocked and there are no spaces between the words. The words 'Carmenia Octamum' are written in green ink as part of the heading for the work.
