Scrapbook that was compiled by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd. It contains approximately 76 archival items produced 1963-74.
The archival items include promotional clippings and advertisement proofs for Kodak products. The products and subjects include photographic film and papers, cameras and accessories, photographic film processing equipment, facsimile transmission and darkroom accessories. Some of the advertisements relate to Kodak products, but others promote the profession of photography itself and the benefits it may provide to various business ventures.
Advertising slogans include 'Your reputation is as good as the next shot. So is ours. You can depend on Kodak film, paper, and chemicals' and 'Moving into roll film photography? One of these Graflex cameras is your problem solver'. Some of the proofs have handwritten annotations detailing the cost breakdown of the particular campaign as well as notes and comments on the rationale and process of creating the mentioned proof. Advertising material has been prepared by Kodak (Australasia) Pty Ltd or Berry Currie Advertising (Vic.) Pty Ltd.
Advertising clippings and proofs relate to the following publications:

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Large paper rectangular scrapbook with 93 paper pages plus front and back cover, bound with white fabric tape. The last 23 pages have been left blank, with a few pages cut out in between. The proofs, mostly in black and white, some in colour, were printed on white paper as half page, full page and smaller clippings. The promotional materials range in size from 330 mm x 254 mm to 466 mm x 339 mm. The proofs were adhered with sticky tape, but many are loose. Most of the clippings have the journal/newspaper source and date printed, or handwritten on them. Some have notes handwritten on them. A paper pocket has been stapled into the back cover using 9 metal staples. This scrapbook also contains a photo with its negative as well as a number of printing negative envelopes.
