This photograph shows an unknown man and woman at the O'Connor campsite on Ninety Mile Beach, 1907.

The family remembers 'Every year the O'Connors would camp at different spots along Ninety Mile Beach, such as Reeves Beach etc. They would load up the wagon with the table and bed rolls and would pick a spot make camp. Here you can see the dune behind them and their clothes drying on the bushes.'

The photographer of this image, Doctor Sydney Pern, was a friend of the contributor's family, who lived in Yarram. In addition to his duties as the local GP, he was an enthusiastic amateur photographer.
