One boy and three girls, in their pyjamas or night gowns, holding Christmas stockings in front of a fireplace, in lounge room. This photograph shows the Dominiewski children, Peter, Joanne, Carolyn and Michele, in front of the mantle piece, Glenroy, Christmas Eve 1966. It was taken in the lounge room of their family home. Michele remembers that this 'was a Dominiewski family tradition. As is the Polish way they would celebrate Christmas Eve with a large dinner and opening of presents from overseas. Then the children would hang their stockings on the mantle piece before bed.'
