Black and white photograph showing the Fletcher extended family, probably in the backyard of their home in Brunswick, circa 1913.

Jim Fletcher (with a cat on his shoulder), Syd Brearley (with a cat on his shoulder), Pearl and Dick Fletcher, Fred Brearley, Amelia Fletcher, Mabel Brearley, Emily Brearley and Tip the dog. Fred Brearley was a saddler by trade but very interested in music (especially opera) and art. This photograph must have been taken on a special occasion, as the whole family is together. The family kept chickens, had a vegetable garden and an orchard.
