Dylan was a Grade 5 student at Healesville Primary School during the Black Saturday bushfires of February 2009. His artwork 'Bushfire Disaster', now part of the Victorian Bushfires Collection, was created at that time. A year later, Dylan reflected on his experience during Black Saturday and the meaning of his painting.
