An early cane planter which was discovered at Waterloo (near Bundaberg Qld). From an article published in Massey-Ferguson Review June 1967, No.101. "Crichton Industries Pty Ltd of Bundaberg - a subsidiary of Massey-Ferguson (Australia) Limited plans to establish a museum of sugar cane equipment. ................Another interesting item is the early cane planter which was discovered in Waterloo. It has a furrow opener and chute and is complete with a device for lowering the opener into the ground or raising it for transport. The frame was cut from a tree fork.'
