Significance

The Yarram Gathering organising committee created the banner for all the participants to sign and witness on the occasion of the signing of the Heritage Agreement between Museum Victoria and the Victorian Women on Farms Gathering, 2003.

This is the first public document of the participants and the diversity of locations. The signatures offer a very personal connection between each participant and occasion, and is a measure of the importance given to the Agreement.
